Geckotech Completes 20 Millionth Minute

Chicago, Illinois - June 26, 2006 In its first three years of operations, Chicago-based voice over IP (VoIP) provider Geckotech, has shown 350% annual revenue growth and today announces the completion of its 20 millionth minute by business customers using GeckoConnect, an outsourced (VoIP) phone system.

Geckotech has grown consistently since launching its operations in 2003 and total minutes of calls placed on the outsourced IP phone system in 2005 was 1,700% more than 2004.

“A year and a half ago our customers collectively placed 15,000 minutes of calls per month. Last month we did about 1.7 million minutes,” remarked Josh Robbins, Geckotech’s managing partner.

The company attributes its continued growth in the Midwest to the eagerness of small and mid-sized business owners to outsource their phone systems.

“Phone systems have traditionally been a headache for business owners, and by outsourcing they can focus on building their own business rather than spending time and money managing and maintaining complicated telecom equipment,” Robbins added.

“Geckotech's uptime and reliability is consistently the highest in the industry and businesses benefit from enhanced productivity, flexibility, scalability, reliability and a reduced total cost of ownership over traditional phone systems,” Robbins said.
